Sunday Bloody Sunday! (U2 song ringing in my head) Sundaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy. Local radio station, 106.5 The End, has what they call “The Breakfast Club” (a pun on a 80’s teenager movie) and they play all kinds of 80’s music in the morning. It’s a nice break from the norm. Too bad I can’t stay at home and just chill all day, working on the computer and rocking the house with the synthetic keyboard sounds and upbeat rhymes of Soft Cell or Blondie.

Just trying to understand what the hell is up with the job market right now? I got a call on my cellular about a week ago from ‘Beth’ at a job headhunter service; she said that she might have a job opportunity with these guys in Charlotte. They are looking for someone with great ‘general’ computer knowledge to help promote their business and to make up a logo and a whole bunch of advertising materials. When I asked what they made, she only mentioned that they made prophylactic and rubber materials (probably meaning that they either make dildos or condoms); either way, I think It would be fun. Just about anything would be an upgrade from Sitel.

It’s pretty slow in here today, as usual for a Sunday. I am bored as hell, nothing to do. I finished up my portfolio to show, just in case that lady ever calls back with a time for an interview.
